Trees (May 2000)
This is my attempt at a Zen-like painting - actually just a pencil sketch drawn outdoors and then tidied up and colored on the computer. The viewpoint is about half a mile from here, in the fields between Crewkerne and Misterton. Most members of my family have been fairly talented amateur water-colorists (my great-grandfather, grandfather, mother, uncle and aunt, at least) so I feel I ought to be able to do better at it if I just had the patience!
